A room is a sum of its parts and creating a connection, ie: what is your couch and rug like…need lots more info and photos.

Just based on light cream walls, grey baseboards, red rug, taupe couch and white chairs…are you aiming for an eclectic room?

I wonder about adding white chairs, given the warm shades, cream walls and grey baseboards. Perhaps the warmth of a dark grey might be more complementary/feel more earthy.

I would not add white chairs to that arrangement.

No more nailheads no matter what chair you choose I would need to see the whole room but from what you post a pure white not so much. I have all white leather but it was planned from the beginning so all the rest goes with it.. BTW I do not find good leather to be a bad investment it will outlast any fabric hands down. That said it needs to be thought out .BTW love the rug
