I would confine the selection to 2. Lap siding and shakes.

I have posted the images below for your reference with details I think are important.

I personally do not like the look of a 12 lap siding, a slim clapboard is more attractive on an old home. Accenting only when you have room for the siding to show. Long stretches of siding rather than pieced. Your gables are so small, they won't look accented.

3 different siding options is too busy. You wouldn't want to seam Board & Batten, so you would need a watertable to end the length, Your boxed out windows would disrupt a flow to the siding. I vote for a slim traditional clapboard siding and Great Trim details.

Another option is an alternating exposure on the siding.

@PPF., that mixed exposure pattern looks cool. I'm thinking of doing a similar pattern on my deck at some point.

@millworkman, You don't think so? How much height would you say is needed for the 12" lap to look right?

Height and width. Needs to be in proportion. Yours is a smaller area and too chopped up in my opinion.
