IMO you're making this way too complicated.

Slate & then turf until you no longer want the turf. That day may come.

It's the basement not the outdoor patio.

Will this be a golf simulator and movie viewing room?

There will be a full wet bar next to it and movie area.

I agree with beverly simple always a better choice than overthinking .

I like the suggested simpler approach.

If the turf is not being laid on top of the tile, buy extra tile and grout to finish the floor if/when you get rid of the turf. It won‘t match exactly when laid down later but at least you (or future buyers) will have options.

I would also make sure that you have extra slate tile so that if/when the golf simulator is removed (or you sell the house) - you can replace the turf with the same slate tile.
