I have a 30" sink cabinet and want to install a 30" sink. Based on reading Joseph Corlett’s posts, it seems straightforward and is the preferred method. My woodworker will be installing the undermount sink into my wood countertop, but when I mentioned the strap system, he said he hasn’t done it that way before. Should I be concerned? He seemed open to trying it, and I don’t want to come off as telling him how to do his job. I'm willing to reduce the size of the sink to 27-28 if that makes it easier. Thoughts?

Also, I'm debating between two stainless sinks--one is Kraus and one is Ruvati. The Ruvati has the offset rear drain while the Kraus has the rear center drain. Any real difference in quality between these two brands?
