I would first try to clean the cabinets as best as possible.

As much as I like gray, it doesn’t pair well with your cabinets.

How does the kitchen relate to the rest of the house? Is it open to the dining and living rooms or closed off?

What flooring is in the rest of the house?

kitchen is by itself with small area for dinning table. carpets inthe rest of the house and i want to remove all and make it vinyl flooring throughout. what color do you think will go well with these cabinets. i am trying to avoid painting them for now.

Here's a visual of my suggestions. Clean the cabinets, replace the hardware with black knobs and pulls. I also suggest you replace the stove fan with a stainless steel model. You can install an LVP vinyl plank in a tone to coordinates with the cabinets. You can use a warm white for the walls.
