I’m about to get my bathroom renovated and I’ve collected lots of pictures. I really like a low curb entry to the new shower and that’s not an issue, but seeing the designer today, she shows the width of the curb to be about 6”. I haven’t actually seen a shower curb in real life, but just from online/houzz pictures the curbs shown seem thinner.

Can anyone who actually has such a curb, tell me how wide yours is?

Or if a designer can tell me what it is usually. Pictures attached to show you the dimension I’m inquiring about.

In these pictures the curb seems so narrow like 4” inches visually. My designer showed me the 6” top tile they use (I think she said Kerdi but don’t quote me on that) and it just seemed so wide and therefore clunky looking
