Should I attempt DIY railing replacement

I got a couple of quotes for 2k to remove and install new stoop railing. The bases of the posts are rusted through/breaking off...a couple of bolts are missing. I'm watching some DIY YouTube videos and it seems a bit overwhelming due to the concrete. But also to try and repair/paint the existing ones won't help the curb appeal problem.. SOS. What you have now is pretty flimsy looking. If the 2k is new custom fabricated go for it, it will look a lot more substantial. I would widen the entry- right now the opening looks yo only be two feet wide?
