Cut something else out of the build and go for the Sub-zero! Also if you have family/kids in the house, go for the 36" fridge and 24" freezer. I did that combo in my previous house and loved those units. Notice I hinged them both on the left, which made more sense for the way the kitchen was laid out and how we used the fridge and freezer.

Yeah, I just invested in replacing a freestanding fridge with a paneled Classic SZ and I'd say the same thing. Cut back somewhere else and don't scrimp on the fridge. We did that in a previous home when we remodeled the kitchen. Thought SZ was over the top so we saved a few thousand and got a KA. No comparison I found out when I later purchased a home with a SZ. With this latest purchase I obsessed about the decision for a year before I finally bit the bullet and bought the SZ and a new cabinet to accommodate it. It is a thing of beauty in form and function and a daily joy to behold.
