In the planning stages of our future screened in porch, and I love the look of the hanging porch beds! I know they are quite common, and are often made from twin beds. I have also seen some charming pictures of standard beds out on back porches! See the pics for my inspiration.
Here is my question... How do y'all keep these things mold/ mildew free? How are the mattresses and sheets kept clean? The porch will be covered but there will be humidity and occasional windy rain.
I'm in the Southeast and it's humid here! Yet I personally know people who have done in my area and somehow it seems to work! Any tips or experience? Tia!
