What type of seating would work in this room?

From the TV wall to the windows is 15' and from the other wall to the end of the tv wall is 7.5. Prefer "L shape sectional" to seat 5-6, but may not be large enough? TV could probably go on either wall if that helps. (Orange walls & ceiling fan pics are from old mls listing)

Having a scaled drawing of the entire space would be very helpful. I kinda see a dining table and chairs in one corner? If so, I'd remove island seating and reduce the width of the island. And maybe eliminate it if I could see all the space dimensions. A picture looking into the room toward the dining corner would help.

Your TV is mounted too high on the wall I have lowered it.

This layout might work if you keep the sectional very small in scale.

A sectional that will truly comfortably sit 5 - 6 people needs to be roughly 12 ft wide x 8 ft deep.

No guest wants to sit in the corner and in the example by Beverly above, the two people on either side of the corner will hit their legs if they both decide to cross their legs.

Thank you. Haven't moved in yet, closing in 10 days, these images are all there are of that area. There is currently a high top w/2 chairs next to the island

I agree, a sectional feels most appropriate.
Here’s one I really like and suggest.

You can pick from over 150 sample materials. So the couch doesn’t have to be white even tho that’s how it’s advertised.

Don't have dimensions of the window wall (nor window location on the wall) but if the sectional can extend beyond the 7'5" here's one idea. With incomplete information it's difficult to give the best answers.

I wouldn't do anything until you are in the house. You really need to be able to measure off the space and even tape it out on the floor to see what would work best for the space and how you want to live in it.

There are countless posts on here from people who bought the wrong size furniture and are trying to make it work because they spent so much on the wrong thing.

If you ditch the high top you get lots of sectional space. Add a large ottoman for more lounging options.

You need dimensions of the whole space.

Have you thought about putting the t v on the large wall? Add two more Pong chairs, angled toward t v. Put a larger serving piece in the niche. Invest in two swivel counter stools and now 6 people can watch t v. Decorate the wall:
