I had a sectional that could actually sit 6 guest, without using the curve fronted corner piece, but it was roughly 12 ft long x 8 ft wide.

How many people will use this room on a daily basis?

I'd replace the sectional with either a sofa and two club chairs or 4 club chairs. My clients have LOVED that latter configuration.
