Sorry but glam is not going to happen by chaging shoe boxes .Glam is not going to happen until you either get a much alrger claset of a lot less stuff in this one. How big is this space ? That could help and how old are you.? The reason I ask I see lots of sneakers so age is kind of important to understand glam. THis is to me a nice glam closet notice how everything has a place all hhung nicely . I like all padded hangers for my cloyjes I have them in white and black since thta is 90% of my wardrobe . I have avery tall shoe rack that holds my dressy shoes and a low one for runners and sandles I think it is well worth it to have a nice closet I love mine , oeganized and looks pretty If you post the plan of the space you might get great ideas . My closet ic not huge but holds all I wan it to hold . I just went to your idea bokks yes you need a glam closet . Is there a room you could use for a dressing room I have done that in the past .

"Glam" in a closet is only achieved by having a large closet with minimal stuff inside ... and that stuff is carefully curated. That is not how most people live!

If you want glam I think you need to look at closet systems and set it up something like below (can only be shelves if you don't have the budget for drawers). There are some inexpensive systems out there, look at Ikea, Amazon, etc. I would do everything in white.

I don't think "glam" is possible in a closet, unless it's managed by personal staff.

leave the black shelving and paint the whole room black.

replace all you hangers and organize your wardrobe by color and style.
