if you happen to grow just shrubs, forget about it

if you consider veggies, perennials, annuals, get ridd of it before the seeds start the next genaration

Make sure to get any runners out too. They like to break off when you pull.

There are acres of it, locally. Cattle and horses won't touch it, so once it appears in a field, they will eat the grass from around it, allowing it to spread without competition (as if it needs help). Then there is less grass, which the horses and cattle eat down to nubs, leaving more room for the ranunculus. Soon, the fields are carpets of yellow, with very little to no grass. It's a beautiful sight in Spring, but shows just how rampant it can be.

That's a sad story fig_insanity, but no doubt true.
