Hello Gardeners! My name is Tyler and I am an educator at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum. In 2016 the Museum decided to build rain gardens here for an educational experience and a "living exhibit" in our downtown community. As much as I would love to build a rain garden at my apartment, my landlord disagrees with me. Any who, I get to spend time in, enjoy, and share the museums' rain garden with others. That being said, I am taking this course to be able to better understand the rain gardens so I can do a better job of fostering rain gardens in our community. I know this program is more or less built for residential gardeners, but I am just excited to learn and figured Id share what our city rain gardens look like!
