finally have some scapes and weed identification

I finally have some scapes. The foliage is huge and dense due to all the rain we've had in my location. I am hoping that someone can help me identify this weed. I gets pretty tall and the roots seem to go down forever. My neighbor's yard has quite a bit and it has spread into my garden. I am also pulling a ton of little maple trees as the house two doors down has a huge maple tree and there was a windy day and everything landed in my yard. Man vs Nature and nature always win.

David, I can relate to those huge foliage clumps! And yes, the frequent rains certainly helped.

I have that same weed but did put it through my plant app on my phone to get a real name. It pulls up bitter dock, round leaved dock, dock leaf, butter dock, etc. in the sorrels genus. Prevalent over most of US and can be invasive. Can you relate? The app also noted your plant ”seems healthy”!!

Just what everyone needs, a nice healthy weed! I have just finished pulling a couple of those, along with some other big healthy weeds, at least I am getting them before they go to seed.

The weeds love the rain as much as the lilies do. We had rain yesterday and woke up to rain today but some of my blooms were the largest they have ever been. I did not recognize the first White Eyes Pink Dragon bloom because it is so large. I measured it and it is 9 inches across

without being flattened.

Thanks for helping with the identification. I need to get out there is dig the last one which looks like it may start blooming soon. Just waiting for the rain to stop.
