What effort does it take to replace this gas fireplace

I have a fairly new built home in 2019. But I hate the tv position above the fireplace. I was thinking what effort does it take to replace a gas fireplace with a slimmer profile one. Lower profile linear so that I can install tv further down.
What work are we looking at. I guess dry wall repair and a new fireplace install is enough? Will I need general contractor? Or should I reach out to the fireplace dealer? How much would it cost on average in seattle area. Will the existing fireplace be of any value if I want to sell?
