First Hosta Flowers

This was about a week ago...I've been waiting for my first blooms and watching Great Expectations & Big Mama as they were first to send up flower shoots and buds.

Surprise - Crazy for You was my first. Many others are not far behind.

What are your first bloomers?

I have a lot of blooms now, can't remember first probably one of my streakers. I would say I have 40% hosta blooming now or about to.

My first one was 'Feather Boa' on May 27th, which is kinda early for me. Ever since there have been more and more varieties and while I only had 2 scapes late May it is now in full bloom.

Taken today, this 'Grand Tiara' has been in bloom for a little while, as evidenced by the wilting earlier flowers.

While not in bloom there's plenty of buds in this fasciated scape on one my 'Undulata's.

'Empress Wu' has been going gangbusters for about 10-14 days now.

I only took 2 pics of blooms (6-24-25)..

NOID..maybe Blue Angel?..Blue Umbrellas is blooming behind it on the right..
