Is this a boob light? Other ideas?

There is a live debate happening at our dining room table. Please weigh in. Is this a boob light?

If so, please provide other suggestions for a chrome flush or semi-flush light, around 12" wide, no more than 12" tall for a simple bathroom. Nothing with crystals, cut glass, or other bling. Around $100. Clear or white glass.

Yours is not lol. Your light is nice actually.

Here’s one that meets your criteria and would be cute in a bathroom. Gather you have lighting over a mirror, so complementing should be considered. If there is no other lighting, suggest aiming for optimal light, but install a dimmer, so it doesn’t always have to be stark.

I never thought of any lights as boob lights until I saw it posted on this forum. I do not in any way find them offensive and cannot understand why anyone does - I simply do not see the connection. It is a light fixture - not a breast or even a reasonable approximation of a breast - at least to my eyes. To me, it is more like a cupcake with a cherry. If there were two of them, then I could see the connection, but no way with only one.

Not a boob light. I have a similar fixture and I really like it. But not for a bathroom--I think steam and hair sprays and such would mean cleaning inside the glass too often. I like Beverly's next-to-last, the brass circle.

IMO useless lighting in a bathroom but there are 100s of flush mount lights that will give you much better lighting for sure IMO a nice LED 4000K fixture to light the bathroom well This is $30 from Amazon and would probably light the whole room

I’d either install a second one to go Full Boob and drill the post screwcaps for piercings - or get the LED disk posted by Patricia Cromwell that puts out enough light to Beam You Up Scotty.

I'm liking @Maureen 's globe sphere suggestion. Not wild about the extra chrome curved pieces that drop down. Maybe someone would like to find me a plain globe with a simple chrome attachment, no integrated LED, for $100-ish, a bit more is fine? :)

Great point @Patricia Colwell Consulting about cleaning an open fixture. No hairspray used in our household, but it is a humid room, and why not avoid having to dust inside a bowl if I can.

No light above the vanity. It is a very small bathroom so I'm not concerned. 54" x 80-ish". One bright flush mount will do the trick.

As an apartment dweller (at higher risk for ceiling leaks) I will never purchase an integrated LED fixture again. I got a sweet, petite one from Visual Comfort, which got completely, unrepairable trashed by a leak from up above.

@Lars - I was calling them boob lights before I knew they were called boob lights. I can't unsee a boob light.
