I've found a Calacutta Caldria marble slab that has honed finish on one side and silk finish on the other. I'm going to use the slabs in the kitchen, laundry room and bathroom. The silk finish has more texture than honed and its a matte look. Now, i'm starting to this this texture finish won't be very practical in the kitchen what with constantly wiping them down. Does anyone have this silk finish in their kitchen? if so, is it practical?
