Wow! our beds are beautiful, Julia. I am so glad you posted them and glad to see Bob Marley as it is finished here. everything looks so good and weed free unlike here. We had the last rain for a while last night and it was a doozy. Tahiti Sweetie and Bob Marley look wonderful in that bed. Catastrophe Waitress and Isle of Patmos both look good. I am sorry that Filled to Overflowing is not doing well. This was its best year here with so many blooms and it rebloomed heavily all due to the rains I am sure.I know you enjoy walking through all of the beauty you have eecuted in your garden.

Your garden photos are fabulous!! Such great landscaping and an eye for flower artistry!! I absolutely love all the different plants and colors you have going on. It is amazing what you have accomplished in just a few short years and they all look so lush and healthy. Is that your purple phlox with the coneflower? It is so pretty. Oh and your daylilies are looking good too! No wonder the deer drool over your garden! Just beautiful!

Love the garden shots! I do adore the mixed perenial beds. I do a bit of that myself, adds interest in my eyes. The daylilies look great.

Your beds and property look beautiful!! It looks like you are surrounded by woods. About where are you in WV? Looks like you are not near a city! We drive across I-64 & up I-79 to get to our home area of Uniontown PA not far from Morgantown.

Tahiti Sweetie is my favorite flower posted. It is such a great color. Isle of Patmos and Cat. Waitress are beauties too! The red cone flowers with the purple flowers are perfect together.

Thank you all for the comments. It is still a work in progress and most likely will be for a long time.

Debra: Thanks for the info on BB. It is on the one side of the crape myrtle. We've had low 80's several days in the morning so heat not an issue but maybe needs more sun all day. I'll see what happens with the other blooms since it has many yet to open.

Brad: We live in Shepherdstown in one of the HOA communities. The lots here are at minimum of 3 acres and yes, there are woods along one side of our property and the back area. It is quite a very nice area and great neighbors. The coneflowers in that photo is Double Scoop Cranberry and phlox is called Blue Paradise. They look purple but also blue. Very unusual which I like.

Maryl: Yes, I am going for the cottage garden look. Sometimes though I over plant but I can't resist adding another type to the garden. One of the garden nurseries in our town went out of business due to a new owner taking over and they were focusing more on mulch and stones. The nursery had some great sales so I stocked up however I lost a nursery that had such wonderful plants at reasonable prices.
