Porches & Decks Design Dilemma

Hi, we’re staining our pressure treated wood decking; what color stain? A friend said something that would match with the dark wood stain of the original window frames in the enclosed porch. Semi-transparent walnut or mahogany? Also, I was originally planning to stain the stair risers white to match the railing. She suggested not to. Thoughts?

of the two, Walnut, Mahogany is too red. Will you paint the rest of the railing White?

the risers will show dirt splashes from rain, keep them woodtone.

Paint the door a red/orange geranium color.
