Do you need to have a freestanding tub in your primary bathroom? If you don't, you could have a beautiful large shower + double vanity + have leftover room to use for a closet. It just depends what is more important to you.

As long as you have a tub in another bathroom, you don't need to have one in your primary bedroom. If you don't have a tub in another bathroom, a freestanding tub isn't the best option.

@dani_m08 no tub elsewhere so definitely want one in here. Just can’t figure out how to get a closet in there without it looking like a weird sized room

If you put everything in place,i.e, tub, shower, vanity/s, door to the bedroom, is there windows or not, and most importantly, add all the dimensions from and to, etc, this way the complete layout can be seen so you can get some suggestions.

Free standing tubs need huge spaces to look good so IMO a nice alcove deep soaker with the shwer next to it on the left would be a good use of space . Waht are the rooms next to this on the left? Waht is the yellow bumpout in the bathroom? I might just do a wall of Pax reach in closets on a whole wall in the bedroom , no closet ever in a bathroom IMO You could do thta closet wall on the bottom wall and use that weird 4x4 space for something in the room next to this space .but I see no windows in the bedroom so you need to show those and honestly bigger not always better for bathrooms , I do not want to spend hours cleaning a bathroom so i tend to like smaller bathrooms that are very functional.

@Patricia Colwell Consulting Yellow bump out is a wall that can't be removed unfortunately. I had the shower and tub on back wall, vanity to left when you walk in and toilet in the corner to the right but there was 12 feet between the vanity and the right side of windows. Just too much wasted space. Just trying to figure out if I can add a walk in closet from the bedroom and use some of the bathroom space without it looking strange.
