First blooms this week.

I am sure peak is over here, but have a few just getting started. Generally the first blooms this week were much better than 2-3 weeks ago.

Dances With Giraffes is having a rough season. The scapes are a foot shorter, blooms smaller and fewer. It has been the bud queen here.

Awesome Artist started this week, all blooms have looked good. It got moved last fall so I am pleased with its performance.

Ffo for Buzz Saw today.

Lovely Miss Laucious started this week. I wish it was a bit more productive.

Megatron is having a rough season. Short scapes and poor bud count.

First bloom on Magic Dancer.

Winifred Esther has struggled with the lack of rain, two nice blooms today.

Wanda Lou Lovely is doing well after being moved last fall. I didnt recognize it at first, The blooms are always heavily ruffled. last years photo is below.

Ffo for Witch’s Stick

Ffo on Savannah Debutante, it should be a double. This bloom is over 6” on tall scape.

Wow, Savannah Deb has never been anywhere near that tall here, and not this year either evern with all the rain. Lovely Miss Laucious is gorgeous!. Dancing with Giraffes did not bloom at all this year, and down to 1 fan for some reason.

Savannah Debutante is still a pretty color, even as a single. Lovely Miss Laucious is indeed lovely. Buzz Saw is a pretty one!

S Debutante is a very reliable performer here. I think that Buzz Saw, as I recall, has always performed well for you. Megatron here was dug up by a pool construction group at the estate. I put it in a pot, and it has performed well. It is a big striking flower.

Buzz Saw is one of my personal favorites. Your picture captures it well. To me it's whiter at mid afternoon then some of the so called whites and with that gold edge, it's just so appealing. A friend of mine has it and says it's one of her favorites too..........Lovely Miss Laucous is a really nice purple with washed center and open face. If I did purples I could see that in my garden.......Maryl

It's surprising that Dances With Giraffes and Megatron are performing so poorly for you this year. Most who grow those two report consistent performance. Lovely Miss Laucious has a beautiful face!
