Thank you, Donna! I use several methods of quilt-as-you-go because I have no space to lay a completed top down anywhere. I lose a little precision, but so far all have turned out pretty square.

Char, your quilt is beautiful, and the fact that you made it aboard a sailboat is really amazing. Where are you now?

We are back in Secret Harbour, Grenada. We were up the chain for several months this spring & recently took a short jaunt to Carriacou for some clearer water snorkeling, but we don't want to wander too far north this time of year in case something big rolls off of the Cape Verde Islands.

Grenada is the "velcro" island for us and many others. We have met some other amazing cruisers from South Africa, England, Canada, US and many locals have endeared themselves to us. The island is a very inviting location for hurricane season...our home away from home I think.

Sounds like a perfect spot to shelter. I’m excited. We are taking a Caribbean cruise in February that will take us to Bequia, and I’ll be able to visit my sister’s restaurant and see that house they are building.

Oh Lois, I'm so happy to hear you will be able to see your sister in Bequia. It is a lovely island and the snorkeling along the rocks on the beach is very good.
