This is my side door and a pic of the canopy I'm going to get put in over it. The canopy is 25"deep x 50" wide and soffit and roof can be painted any colour I wish. Do you think this canopy will be too high and look funny? I don't to move the light fixture and am only looking for minimal rain protection. I want the canopy to cover the light. Also what colour do you rec for the soffit and roof. A new door is going in and it's a putty colour (like the front door colour in the pic). Thanks, Donna
