To my eye, the brown roof, the grayish brown shingles, and the tan window trim do not go with each other at all. I might go with a soft green with a warm cream trim with the roof. Colors like the house below.

The back of your house looks awkward. I'd put a tree on the right to balance it out. You want it close enough to provide some balance, not so close it will outgrow its space. You could do a conifer to echo the left's peak or something with a rounded canopy for contrast.

Looks like a lovely location. Perhaps the right landscaping could refocus the attention. I might consider replacing the bay window.
