The solar film is not working I never use window film but I do custom solar shades for those arched windows all the time. I use 10% in either charcoal or bronze to allow the view but really control the heat and UV, I find the film does neither as well.

I was told custom solar shades were not an option as the upper window frames is curved

That is the reason I went with all squared off windows when I built my house! So much easier to cover the windows whether using shades or drapes.

I would do custom automated solar or cellular shades, depending on how much light/heat you want to block.

Can you suggest a place that does custom shades? As I said I was told that custom shades won’t work because of curved tops of windows
