Thanks Stax. It does come with everything one needs to hook it up; I'd just like something better. While the sink itself is perfectly acceptable quality, I prefer nicer fittings.

Yes you can do what you are asking. I’ve been using these ikea sinks for twenty years with the hardware they were designed with (as have millions of other people) with zero issues. Plumbers grumble and groan, maybe read the instructions, and figure it out. But yes you can absolutely use ‘normal’ plumbing and give up drawer space.
