Pull it out, reframe the opening and use the same stile as the flankers. 5'-0" wide by whatever the flanking units height is, looks to be about 4'-0".

I don't think it's hideous. I would just square it off and leave it larger, personally. But I like @millworkman idea too.

The problem now is the wrong thing is emphasized. The door should be the largest, most prominent feature. Instead it’s this looming window. Put two double hung windows in that align with the adjacent, and add a transom above the front door.
