Windows Design Dilemma

Best height to hang curtains on these windows?

If I wanted to remove those black shades and hang curtains instead, what's the best way to handle the high window in terms of design? Would it be better to have the curtain rods in the dining and living spaces be mounted at the same height and leave the half moon window uncovered? Or better to have the living room curtains be basically full height to cover the whole window, even though they'd be a different height than the dining curtains? Thanks!

I would do a custom soloar shade on the 1/2 moon and hang both at the same height unless you have a very formal style the drapes at the ceiling over the 1/2 moon are too formal

Like both suggestions given but it would be dependent on your preferences on whether you want to have complete sun protection or not.

I would hang regular roller blinds for the half circle. Make them 80 or 90 percent sun block so the shape shows through when lowered.

Then drapes at the same level for the sliders and window.
