We LOVE our battery pole saw! Didn’t think we ’d be as impressed as we are but it makes short work of some difficult jobs.

I don't have a battery pole saw, but an electric pole saw. While great for trimming low branches, and cleaning up the ground level branches in bushes, there are things that are difficult.

When I got mine, I though now I can cut the branch up on the trees in the yard. While the pole saw has the reach, because of the weight on the long pole, it is difficult to aim. Then once you hit the target, it is difficult to get any leverage. So if you are thinking you need a pole saw to get that high branch, while you may be able to get it, you may need to get the extension ladder. Make sure you considering all angles from a SAFETY aspect before cutting it down with a small chainsaw.

Aw. KR, I know you are right, especially since I am 5'2' tall now and don't weigh much either. Still, a girl can dream...

Any brand/model recommendations for a battery pole saw?

my cheap remington 120v model is functional. but unwieldy. weight of motor at end of pole is awkward. the gas versions with motor near hand grip is designed for pros i guess. i assume there are battery ”pro” models too. i havent really done much searching.
