Bewitched is one of my very favorite roses! Also, having been born in 1955, the show Bewitched was a big fave as a kid for me too :-D

Enjoy your new rose! It's not the kind of rose I grow, so I don't know it, but the comments suggest it's a good one.

I think what excites me most about Bewitched is that it's in less than ideal conditions, but is still willing to grow and bloom.

Another one that is intriguing me is Belle Isis. That one did not shut down during the worst heat, but just kept growing. Granted, it's probably not all Gallica. I'm looking forward to seeing if it will bloom in the spring.
