Yes Bill, it's Cryptomeria j. spiralis. I have many crypt's cultivars.

The Gingko in 9th pic - do you have the name / size / type? I’m interested in whether it’s one of the dwarfs I’ve seen in a couple local nurseries. I’ve wondered if they really do stay tiny in ground over, say a 20 year span….& won’t grow into the typical Gingko tree size.

KW, It's a Gingko 'Mariken'. Most of the plantings in this area have been in the ground about 6 years. This tree was purchased from Conifer Kingdom 2013.

Thanks Zephyrgal! I think ”Mariken” is the same that I’ve seen in local nurseries here in Vancouver. I do receive info from Conifer Kingdom too. Yours looks pretty diminutive for being inground 10+ years!

Ontario, no crew of any kind. I planted everything myself! Planting trees and shrubs makes life a bit easier for a 72 year old gal. Once a year a fellow comes and trims all the ferns and a guy weedwhacks but basically I do most of the work.
