I had this not bad but another one a couple days ago was worse. When I harvested I noticed the blossom was still there and wet/mushy. This is not normal for a mature eight ball zucchini. It also tasted a little off. Other than the surprise dead wet mushy flower at the end (only a little bit of the flower) the zuc looked perfectly normal outside. It taasted ok but not nearly as good as ones without this damage. Blossom end rot? This brown faded away to nothing as you went towards the stem end.
