Consider utters as trim -- they should match the fascia (the board they attach to) in color.

Easily painted?? What are they made out of??? Paint and gutters are not a thing for lasting much. Who are you kidding!!!

We had our horizontal gutters painted the trim color and our downspouts painted the house color so everything blends - prob painted 14 yrs ago and still look good, they are metal and just primed well I imagine

IMO your home needs some contrast. I'd paint all the trim a lighter color. Where is the landscaping for this house?

We just bought the home. Gutters have significant hail damage. Unsure why they weren't replaced when the roof was done a few years ago. There is absolutely no landscaping, just weeds. It's on the ever growing to do list. Had thought about getting different color gutters and painting some of the trim to match. And eventually painting everything.

Same color as the trim. Gutters are not a design element, you want them to basically disappear as a necessary evil.

I hope you are considering commercial grade gutters. We have to do that down here in Florida. The water on the roof comes down so fast it overshoots the gutters completely, that's why the extra depth of the gutter allows that water to get captured and directed.

I specify painting gutters and downs all the time. Buy white for lighter to match lighter trim paint colors, coordinating trim color. Buy dark gutters for darker trim paint colors.

If they're new, painter preps/paint before install. If after, they actually pop off easier than you think. Primer and paint are both sprayed and easily executed by an average skilled painter.
