You're beig picky. The seams look great. The installer needs to remove the glue or you can do it, shoould be simple enough. What material is the top as that will help determine what you use to remove the residue.

You will need to find sharpies that appear to be a close match in color - and then test them on a piece of white paper and lay it on your countertops. Once you find one that is a similar color, you can use it as suggested by Joseph Corlett in his above comment.

Stop by an art supply house and eye it up. Close is good enough.

We are midst construction, the yellow is gone getting new appliances, hood above stove

possibly brick backsplash we are taking our time, my husband is doing the backsplash

Appliances usually go in before the counter tops--hope they all fit.

Anyway to your original question, the seams look fine to me.

I love brick in a kitchen, but I don't see it here in yours. I'd use the same material for the backsplash as you have on the counter tops. If you don't want to do that, get a plain tile in black, charcoal gray or white.

What ARE the appliances and finish?

You will then need to plan to change electrical to Lutron color match, and DECIDE to end tile at end of peninsula, what to use to finish top/side exposed edge.....pencil liner, Schluter etc. as all tile extend to that end at same under upper cabinet height.

The seam is fine. You are focusing on it because it’s the newest thing in the room. You won’t see it when the backsplash goes in.

The seam is good. Just standing out a bit right now. Do the sharpie trick, and keep working on the project. Once everything is done it will be great!

I would also suggest you do not use brick, or other rough surface tile for the backsplash. Over time it can be more prone to debris buildup, even with regular cleaning.

Diana, that natural cherry kitchen you posted is my all time favorite! Ireland in CT. Perfection IMO.

Isn't it Kitchen Place? Even though the cabinets don't go to the ceiling lol? AND the island is totally different from the perimeter cabinets, but it all works together beautifully.
