Dont put it in corner. Put it on the wall beside the fireplace if you want it somewhere not on top of the fireplace.

Put it on the wall, next to the fireplace. Get an articulating TV wall mount that allows you to pull the TV out from the wall and swivel/tilt for optimal viewing angles.

Are you doing built-ins on either side of the fireplace? If not just look at getting a longer and lower console for under the TV and mount it on the wall where it is on an articulating arm so it can be pulled off the walls and adjusted as needed.
