Renewal by Andersen Door Threshold Issue

My parents had a new backdoor installed recently. The threshold is missing the second piece that would help to make the threshold flush against the block sill. The company is saying that there is no piece missing and it is purposely that way for drainage. I've included a few photos of the back threshold as well as a picture of the front door threshold for reference. It is a tripping hazard at best!!!

I spoke with the sales rep yesterday. She said she spoke with the warehouse manager I believe. They said that all of there doors and door frames are all the same regardless of what door you purchase from them. So they both had no remedy for the issue. They said that if you do anything to add a piece on top of the sill it would void the warranty because they build it that way for drainage purposes. On our old door the bottom piece of rubber came out farther and was gradually slopped down onto the sill. It also didn't appear to have any holes for water drainage.

I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with a similar issue with Renewal By Anderson. If so what did you do to rectify this issue.

The first 3 photos show the threshold of the new door. The 4th photo is of the front door threshold and the last photo although obstructed shows what the back door threshold use to look like.

Thank you in advance
