IMO paint the brick and instantly devalue your home . Not to mention the continuos upkeep. The shutters do not belong on those windows . Waht you have is nice simple brick ranch home it needs some TLC in the landscping design to bring it to life A walkway to the front door is a good start since I can't even see the front door . Myself I would probably kind of go MCM type landscaping but not sure what your style is . I did go to your idea books so I see a bit more transitional but the interior does not have to be the same as the exterior This is one of my faves for landcscaping in MCM style maybe use it more for inspiration.

I agree with the other commenters, but if you must have shutters, black, brown-gray (darker than the roof color) or something along the lines of SW Urbane Bronze would be an improvement over the white. Is there a garage door on the front that is cut off in the picture?

Work on the landscaping. The shrubs/trees in front of every window need to go.

Your brick ranch could look like this with deep, dark curved planting beds. Hire a garden designer to help you enhance the landscaping.

You cannot apply acrylic paint on brick without eventually destroying the brick. Acrylic paint seals moisture in the brick and causes the brick to crumble.

Masonry Paint or Limewash is what can be used on brick.

Another vote for not painting the brick. It’s a nice feature. Yes to landscaping. No to shutters on these windows, and beefing up the window trim would be nice.

thanks for the response, could you send me an example of what beefing up the window trim looks like? thanks. i cant picture where u would put the wood on top of the brick where shutters are since indows are sunk in.
