Thank you! The dining table is off center because there is a window seat, which serves as bench seating for the table (sorry, I neglected to add it to my floor plan design!)

Hard to include a rug when you have a banquette with the table.

if it were me I’d skip a rug in the dining room - curtain panels, upholstered chairs, art etc can add the softness and texture the room needs

Living room: measure when furniture is in place (if not already). Decide how you want to ground the seating area and be sure it‘s not ending mid way into the walk through.

Sitting room: a large area rug (not wall to wall) or try moving seating area a bit into room and ground it. I like the look (ignore chair layouts below) and be sure to measure.

If chairs not purchased, keep scale in mind.
