Where are these tiles in the space ? If in the shower you do not replace tiles without finding out how ater got back there to make the tiles not function So a bit of info first then you go get a sample board from the tile store of the grout and see waht might work I hate to say it but really might be time to just rpeace the tile . But I need to know where these are.

We took out a garden tub and replaced it with a smaller tub . There was no water damage and we still had the original tile left over. 18”x18”. My bathroom is quite large and the shower is tiled with complementary tile as well. My husband‘s bathtoom (yes out master bedroom has his and her bathrooms and walk in closets) has the same tile so I wanted to leave it the same. Unfortunately at Home Depot they don’t carry Alabaster or Antique White in the store and they only have the color as a paper sample. I’ve ordered both colors but was hoping not to haveto open both bags when they arrive.

Re grout all the tile when you grout the new tile.

...meaning, go over all the grout.

It will adhere to the existing grout and you will have a fresh start.

I do understand it will not match perfectly but either color will be close enough that I will be the only petson that can tell. I’ve been pretty fussy about keeping my grout and tile clean so the wear and tear difference is not an issue. i was just wondering what the difference in lightness/darkness or tone between Alabaster and Antique White was bcause on the sample chart they look almost exsctly alike. Honestly I thinkn either one will work and I’m just overthinking. I will post which one I went with after the project is complete.

for me, Alabaster has a yellow hint and Antique White has a pink hint.
