What a job for Amy. I forgot that she is so much younger than her siblings. She was such an awkward child in the White Nouse, not uncommon for kids that age.

I was just talking to my dad on the phone and told him about this auction. Get this:

He was helping with security when President Carter was at the Stockyards in that photo above! HE GOT TO MEET HIM! I’m giddy right now, please excuse me. :D

My dad was in the USW where he worked and the company chose him and some others to help out that day, if they wanted. Yes, he did!

He says he’s told me about it, but my memory stinks. Anyway, he remembers when they gave him the Stetson.

He said Jimmy was very kind and humble meeting everyone. ❤️
