Furnishing newly built home

I close on my new house in 10 days. It's a 3,000 sq. ft 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom. Unfortunately, I have enough furniture for a 2 bedroom apartment. Any ideas where I can furnish it in Orlando area? Need help

Hi David! Congrats on your new home. It is beautiful.

I'm sure there are plenty of great places in Orlando to find furniture. I would suggest that you move in with what you have now and get a feel for the place first.

If you can, hire a designer - that will make everything easier, less stressful, and probably save money in the long run. If you're not ready for that, then come back here and post pics of the inside once you get in so Houzzers can help you plan it out. That way, you don't make any big purchases that you'll regret later.

I'm sure Houzzers will be happy to help plan out a brand new house!

Move in ... use what you have .. then you will know what you need to purchase right away and what can wait.

Agreed, live in the 'empty' for a few weeks and see how the light travels throughout the day, also prioritize which areas of your home need the most attention so the budget is easier to control.
