My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

First finish of 2026

This is a wall hanging I finished yesterday. The pattern is Western Star by Creative Sewlutions. When we were in Alaska in 2017, I purchased a handful of fat quarters of wildlife batiks. Of course, trying to find a use for them has been challenging! I was able to fussy cut six otters for the star centers. Maybe I can find a similar use for the others.

I also found a use for the green floral that has been around a long time! It’s 31 X 40.
