Staircase Handrail

Hello. Please help. I just had our stairs renovated and they are beautiful but I notice the handrail sticks out and far from the wall. I looked underneath and the support brackets are installed on the far edge of the support brackets. Will this before secure long term or should I be concerned of it being an issue long term.
