For the same table length, does the choice between T-shaped and V-shap

I am designing a custom solid wood table (standard dining length). I’m torn between using T-shaped and V-shaped metal legs. From a structural standpoint, which one offers better lateral stability and prevents wobbling, or is the difference mostly aesthetic?

"Standard dining length" is not a measurement. To answer your question, folks will need to know the length, width, and shape of your table, and also how the types of legs you are considering would be attached to the table top. Over time, connections will loosen as materials contract and expand and the table sees use. So whatever is stable now may need adjustment later.

Some tables are more stable with six legs than four. Some dining tables sit on a pedestal. The exact size of your table really can make a difference.

You have more leg options than T-shape and V-shape, whatever those mean. Do you mean straight vs hairpin? Or tapered? Or angled?

Finally, unless the surface you stand the table on is 100% level, you're likely to encounter a wobble or two no matter what kind of legs your table has.
