Agree with you regarding removal of shutters, new garage door & leaving the brick alone. A better, closer up picture of your entry would be helpful. Looks like you have a big yard ( by my standards ) I think some nice re- landscaping would do wonders.

How about a garage door to mimic the horizontal windows?

Navy trim, Taupe, or even the color of the roof for trim colors Wood tone garage door to soften up the look.

I dislke grids in windows on this style of home . Yes black windows would be my choice too. I have no idea what the gold stuff looks like until you post a good picture of that . No painted or otherwise finish on the brick since IMO that would instantly devalue that home .I love the horizontal parts beside the garge so IMO that same idea in the garage door style. Then check out MCM landscaping or even just modern landscaping to really make the most of this very noce home

I like the idea black trim everywhere including the porch post and front door, a black garage door to break up the long horizontal line and to emphasize the black.

You could add white house numbers on the brick to the right of post to tie in the windows.

The colors around the front entrance need to be changed. Do the trim in off white and the door in black. No shutters and a black garage door. New landscaping would really help.

Black is the color of the moment so you are getting that suggestion. I am glad you are using more than " the latest fad" to guide your choice. What is the color of your new metal roof? (LOVE me a metal roof). Maybe I would repeat that color on your trim. Your side lights color is not elevating your entrance. The privacy and sun blocking are good things but that presently clashes with the trim.

Landscaping is the best way to showcase your fantastic ranch. Thank you for not painting the brick even though you're in FL. Yes to the curved brick pathway on cape posted--a brick path extends the footprint. Consider a wide bed around your tree with seating like this \ with native plants that grow well in your area.

The blue that Traceflooyd suggested is nice because it has a bit of green/yellow in it and it leans warm with the orange in the brick, wihich I would never

paint. Neighbors just painted a lovely orangey brick bungalow all creamy white, including all the trim. So boring, no character now and so much more maintenance 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sage-y greens would be an interesting path to explore as they play well with oranges and red tones

So then go with more charcoal gray! It's a very popular color for trim right now, not quite as dark as black. But I understand about lightening up a tish. The blue looks great because in the pics the roof is reflecting the blue sky...a sage green will look good--we don't have as much brick as you but that's what we went with and it blends well.

As much as the gold inserts are MCM IMO thye look terrible with the brick so I would do textured glass there no color. BTW the landscping housegal shows is all wring for thta house . Check out MCM landscpaing that is what will suit the house This is my go to for inspiration

Landscape for a long low brick rancher.

If you replace the garage door would advise that the new door have lites (windows). Will suggest that the lites be veritically oriented to help counter the very long and linear look of your house.

You want to lighten up the house? The best way would be to paint the brick white.

You mentioned Charcoal Gray. Are you still here? Downlights would be very nice entry fixtures and for the garage etc.
