I am of the school of thought that the exterior of the home must be in cohesion with the interior. Not matchy matchy, of course, but respecting the two styles. Please do your research for the materials you are using regarding the upkeep / durability of same. Also, be aware of your colors. In my opinion, do not mix warm and cool colors in the same room. Some cool colors are as follows: taupe, bright white, gray, black, navy, purple, royal blue, silver. Some warm colors: off-white, beige, tan, gold, golden yellow, olive green, brown, orange, peach. Take a black and white picture of a sample room to see how the contrast of light, medium, and dark colors get along. In top HOUZZ search box, put in (one at a time) different bathroom styles so you get some ideas. Go to bathroom showrooms so you get an in person example of what bathrooms look like.
