Congratulations Rachel on your beautiful children !! It’s amazing how true the phrase “ the days are long but the years are short “ is when you have small children. But it’s the greatest joy !!

I purchased living the dream rose as well , and it looks like it’s going to be beautiful ! I bought it a couple months ago and it’s still settling in but my local nursery brought some blooming ones in this week and it was nice to see it ! What else are you planning on adding ? i added too many to count , and now im stuck with the planting part lol

Good Luck with your garden this year ! It took me a while to get back in the groove after having my second baby and now all of a sudden I have enough time to actually accomplish things in the garden . Of course they always seem to want to eat dinner at the busiest time 🤣 but it’s so fun having their help . My son always picks the most vibrant plants and I have to hide oranges and reds out of my own eyesight so as not to offend him . He’s so pleased with what he chooses I can’t tell him no!

I love your son's taste, and he did a great job picking his plant. Is that a dahlia? They are made for bright colors. Oranges and reds are wonderful. Living the Dream is beautiful, too.

Yes diane it sure is a dahlia . however earwigs made quick work of the blooms already 🤪. hopefully it gets more blooms soon !
