So a drunk driver took out our living room…

Our living room was demolished and now we are trying to figure out how to update our exterior. We ordered a bank of 3 white windows 90x60 and two 60” long ones that will replace the single windows, with muntin grids. We plan to add a peaked porch eventually but for now we need siding ideas to add interest.

We think we love the color Cabot Ivy, but we can’t find good examples to be sure. Hoping to get a bigger sample. Any ideas how to affordably use siding to make this house interesting?

WOW - was anyone injured? Were you home when it happened?

Does "peaked porch" = gabled porch all the way across the front of your home OR do you want to add a gabled area just over your front door - or maybe somewhere in between?

Depending on exactly what you'd like to do (adding a portico over your front door or a small gabled porch), now might be the time to do add the gabled porch while all the other work will be going on in order to fix the house.

Is that a mobile home type structure ? The reason I ask it it seems to be a huge amount of damage that will need real inspection for sure.
